I’m a self-professed foodie. I love the scents and textures of food from around the world. And the latest foodie craze that caught my eye? The amazing ramen burger, whose weekend stand has had New Yorkers standing in line for hours, just to get a taste of the latest food mashup.
Keizo Shimamoto created the biggest foodie frenzy since the cronut, and reports say that people have lined up at least 3 hours before Smorgasburg, Brooklyn’s weekend flea market, would even open. Not all of us are crazy enough to stand in line for hours merely to taste the latest food sensation (though I might be), but luckily for the sane ones, our friends at PopSugar Food took it upon themselves to recreate it at home. The best part about the video: it’s surprisingly a lot easier to make than you’d expect! It might not have the pizzazz of Shimamoto’s creation, but hey, you can’t miss what you never had, right?
Ramen burgers don’t exactly scream healthy, but what’s life without a little adventure?
Check out this video giving you a step-by-step guide of making your very own ramen burger at home. Follow along, and let us know how it goes!
